Stretham residents are to have the chance to find out more about plans to turn the rectory into a home for adults with autism.

A public meeting is to be held on June 26 at 7pm in Stretham Primary School, where there will be the chance to question some of the organisations involved in turning it into the county’s first home for young adults with autism.

The East Anglian Autistic Support Trust (EAST), which plans to turn the home into accommodation for 12 young autistic adults, is discussing a partnership with Hereward Housing Association and East Cambridgeshire District Council.
